Wrinkle Relaxing Injections

These injections are a popular and effective non-surgical treatment for treating lines and wrinkles caused by smiling, laughing and frowning. It is used to prevent the muscle contractions that cause furrows and fine lines when the face is making expressions. The injections are placed very precisely using ultra-fine surgical needles and a very small volume is used. Most patients feel no more than a slight ‘scratch’ and usually there is no need for a local anaesthetic. The results are normally seen within 4-10 days and will last for 3-4 months. It has been found that if a patient receives regular injections 2 or 3 times in the first year, the muscles become weakened so that each injection can lasts longer in the future. Every person has a unique facial anatomy so it is difficult to accurately quote before we see you, however, in the majority of cases, simple frown line can be treated for as little as £180 and the forehead and frown lines plus crow’s feet can be treated for £280 in total.
